Yendys
Geoff Ross’ purpose-built Reichel/Pugh 55 Yendys was the first grand prix yacht out of McConaghy International’s boatyard in China, being launched just before the Rolex Trophy in 2006 in a bid to score a second overall win in the Rolex Sydney Hobart. Ross had claimed this honour with his previous Yendys in 1999. With his new boat he finished 6th IRC overall and 1st in Division B in the 2006 race.
