Rolex Trophy Series Notice of Race

Strong support is expected for the Rolex Trophy Series next month, with the Sydney Hobart Race sponsors extending their support to this prestigious lead-up event.

The Notice of Race for the Rolex Trophy Series, the prestigious lead-up regatta to the 59th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, will be available from the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia next Monday, 24 November.

The Series, further extending Rolex’s support for yachting in Australia,  will be sailed over Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 13, 14 and 15 December,  with eight races sailed on inshore and offshore courses.

In addition to IMS, IRC and One-design divisions, a division for PHS handicap boats has been included for the first time since the series was introduced by the CYCA as a stand-alone regatta leading up to the Sydney Hobart Race.

The new super maxi Skandia has already announced its intention of competing in the Rolex Trophy Series and most prominent grand prix racers are expected to enter,  along with a strong line-up of One Design classes.
