From the yacht Katinka - 30 December 2006

Hi Guys and Girls
 
Sorry for the delay in this email.

We are relying on Telstra's CDMA Network which is being decomissioned, previously we had coverage all across Bass Strait but not this year.

So here we are abeam of St Helens at the top of Tassie at 2am.
We had a fantastic crossing of the strait perfect picture postcard stuff.

It looks as if we left the bad weather attached to the mainland.
We hope to be at Tasman Light before tea tonight then make the finish before lunch on New Years eve.

Any way more info as it comes to hand.
