Polaris of Belmont

Proving once again in the breezy 2004 RSHYR that a heavier design is not necessarily a bad thing in the open ocean, Polaris of Belmont "Comes of Age" as she starts her 21st trip south this year.  After completing a slow but comfortable 32nd Gosford to Lord Howe Island race as part of the preparation the boat and crew are ready to face the challenges of the prestigious 2005 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and are looking to live up to the fine results posted by previous skippers and crew of this classic lady.
