Tevake II

Tevake II

Launched in 2000, Tevake II is a Radford 13.7 m design originally commissioned by a Western Australian owner for local and short passage racing. She was purchased by the current owner in 2005 and has been progressively developed into an efficient long distance offshore racer.

Longer offshore races successfully completed since then include three Melbourne to Hobart West Coaster’s, one Rolex Sydney Hobart, one Port Vila to Mackay and two Melbourne to Vanuatu’s. She is currently cruising and racing her way back to Melbourne after taking out Line Honours and 2nd on IRC in the recent ORCV Melbourne to Vanuatu Race.

A fast offwind boat, she will be looking for some good reaching conditions in this year’s race to Hobart.
