C.Q.R.iT INCA (pronounced, secure it Inca) was sailed over from South Africa in 2000, after which Noel Sneddon purchased her as his new floating home residing at Airlie Beach. Since then she has competed in several Audi Hamilton Island Race Weeks and 2008, 2010 and 2012 Rolex Sydney Hobart races. Racing as CIC Secure Inca in 2010 they finished with a third in PHS Division following with a sixth in PHS Division 2 in the 2012 race where she raced as CIC Technology Inca). Aboard for this year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart are a father and son trio Ian, and two sons, Michael having done two Rolex Sydney Hobart’s with his dad, and now joined by the youngest son Nicholas.
