Hartbreaker

Hartbreaker

Owned by cardiologist Tony and Gaye Walton, Hartbreaker is a 46-foot Reichel Pugh based in Brighton, Victoria. Originally built as 'Hardys Secret Mens Business 2' in 2004, and previously known as 'Shamrock', she has been campaigned as Hartbreaker since 2013, and has successfully finished the last five consecutive Rolex Sydney Hobarts. This year, Walton and the crew will look to perform well, and build upon her best results to date - finishing 21st on line honours in 2014 and 41st overall in 2015 - with a Corinthian team of regular sailors, retaining the 'pog mo thoin' motto along the way. "We've got a great crew who regularly sail on Hartbreaker out of RBYC, with a nice balance of both experienced and fresh sailors who learn from each other, listen to each other, and laugh with each other every time we leave the dock. We have all committed to Hartbreaker’s campaign and we're really enjoying the journey from Melbourne to Sydney for this year’s race, and looking forward to the challenge and competition ahead," Walton said.

Other notable results include line honours in the ORCV Melbourne to King Island Yacht Race in 2017-2019, first on PHS in Division 1 at the 2016 Port Lincoln Regatta, and she won the Racing/Cruising Division at Hamilton Island Race Week in 2015.
