Limit

West Australian yachtsman Alan Brierty commissioned Reichel/Pugh to design his latest Limit and Mal Hart to built this state-of-the-art grand prix racer for the 2008 Rolex Sydney Hobart.  The new boat was due to be launched in Melbourne in November.  Brierty already has achieved considerable success with his yachts on the East Coast, including with the Corby 49 Flirt which he renamed LimitLimit competed in the 2007-2008 CYCA Blue Water Championship finishing a creditable 3rd and winning the CYCA Tasman Trophy. Limit also won the Cabbage Tree Island Race collecting the much revered Halverson Brothers’ Trophy. Limit also won Division 2 in the 2007 Rolex Trophy Series and placed 2nd overall to Patrice in the Sailing South Regatta.  The highlight of Limit’s recent successes is winning the 2008 Port Stephens NSW IRC Championships.
