CYCA Commodore Matt Allen is bringing his Jones 70 Ichi Ban to the start line for the fourth time.  The powerful 70-footer finished 3rd across the line in 2008 and 2007 Rolex Sydney Hobart and 2nd across the line in 2006 to Wild Oats XI.  Ichi Ban’s scored the line honours win in last year's Brisbane Gladstone Race.  In the right conditions this modified Volvo 70 is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 35 knots - or 65 kilometres per hour.
