Next is a well-campaigned Sydney 38 and this year, her program has been put together by CYCA member Jay Krehbiel and a group of sailing mates who wanted some great racing in a competitive class.

Skippered by Ian Mason, long-time CYCA member and chief RYA instructor with Pacific Sailing School, the crew has come together from different backgrounds, cities and yachts. Their mantra is to sail hard, race hard, and have fun.

Next is competing in both the IRC and Sydney 38 One Design classes, and will be looking to better her previous best Sydney Hobart result of second in the Sydney 38 division.
