Formerly Flirt, Limit is a custom built IRC racer design that was raced extensively in the UK throughout 2003 and 2004. Owner Alan Brierty has joined forces with Rolex Sydney Hobart veteran Roger Hickman who was instrumental in the boat’s many successes under previous owner Chris Dare, including a division win in last year’s Rolex Trophy, winning Sailing South or IRC and placing 2nd at Skandia Geelong Week on a countback.  Other top results include 2nd over the line and on IRC overall handicap in last year’s Sydney Mooloolaba and 2nd in the 2005-06 Ranges Series.

Limit was the first applicant for entry for this year's Rolex Sydney Hobart, coming less than 24 hours after the application form was posted online.
