Peter Blake and Kate Mitchell bought the well-performed, former Ichi Ban just before the 2005 Rolex Sydney Hobart Race and over the past two years they and their crew have steadily got to know this powerful yacht. In early November last year they took line honours and placed 2nd overall on IRC handicap in the Melbourne to Stanley Race across Bass Strait, a qualifier for the Rolex Sydney Hobart. Blake had great success with his previous boat, Kontrol.
