The CYCA’s 2006/7 CYCA Ocean Racer of the Year, Ray Roberts, has for the past 12 months been sailing this Cookson 50 with success including divisional winner of the Audi Sydney Gold Coast.  For his 17th Rolex Sydney Hobart, Roberts is hoping for more typical conditions of reaching and running as opposed to last year’s upwind race.  Roberts has competed on the eastern Australian seaboard and in Asia with phenomenal success but the Tattersall’s Cup is the one trophy that has eluded him and he and his top crew want that rectified.
