Throughout the evening Constitution Dock welcomed many yachts and their crews with the Rolex Sydney Hobart excitement at an all-time high

For Constitution Dock, it was a night filled with arrivals as the sunset and throughout the evening in the cover of darkness.

Between the hours of 1800hrs last night and 0900hrs this morning there were 64 yachts which made their final dash to the finish line and were welcomed into Constitution Dock. With so many yachts now finished the divisional standings are starting to sort settle down and solidify.

The category of IRC is one which in this race is hotly contested and eagerly watched by many. Division 0 sees Philip Turner's Alive in first followed by Sean Langman's Naval Group and Christan Beck's InfoTrack. Division 1 was claimed by Matt Allen's Ichi Ban with Matt Donald & Chris Townsend's Gweilo and Craig Neil & Bob Steel's Quest in second and third respectively. Division 2 has been topped by David Griffith's Chinese Whisper with David Gotse No Limit in Second and Quentin Stewart's Maverick 49 in third. Division 3 has Noel Cornish's St Jude in first followed by Warwick Sherman's Snowdome Occasional Coarse Language Too and Drew Carruthers' Bounty Brassware Our Rush. Division 4 sees Anthony Kirke's Enterprise in first followed by another Farr 40 in Greg Prescott's 2Unlimited with Jo Breen & David Aplin's Team Runaway in third. Division 5 is topped by Jason Close's Patriot and followed by Carl Crafoord & Tim Horkings's SailExchange and Kimberley Jaggar's Cinquante. Division 6 has Shaun Tiedemann's Willie Smith's Philosopher in first with Pierre Gal's Mistral in second and John Warlow's Ocean Crusaders in third. Division 7 sees yet to finish Bill Barry-Cotter's Katwinchar and Shane Kearns' Komatsu Azzurro in first and second ahead of Simon Kurts Love & War.

The category of ORCi Division 1 has Philip Turner's Alive ahead of Matt Allen's Ichi Ban and Matt Donald & Chris Townsend's Gweilo. Division 2 has Frederic Puzin's Daguet ahead of Noel Cornish's St Jude and Drew Carruthers' Bounty Brassware Our Rush in second and third. Division 3 has Carl Crafoord & Tim Horkings's SailExchange in first with Matthew Pilkington's Black Sheep in second and Greg Prescott's 2Unlimited in third. Division 4 has Jason Close's Patriot in first ahead of Pierre Gal's Mistral and Kimberley Jaggar's Cinquante. Division 5 has Shaun Tiedemann's Willie Smith's Philosopher leading with John Warlow's Ocean Crusaders and Shane Kearns' Komatsu Azzurro in second and third.

PHS Division 1 has Les Goodridge and his team on Wax Lyrical leading Paul Mara & Adrian can der Rijt's Helsal 3 and Owen & Kins' Mahligai. Division 2 is currently led by Bruce Watson's Imalizard in front of Trevor Richardson's Moody Bouys and A Bruce, J Lee Warner & A Sweetapple's Quetzalcoatl.

The Grand Veteran division has the oldest boat to ever compete in the Sydney Hobart leading, Bill Barry-cotter's Katwinchar ahead of Simon Kurts' Love & War and Patrick Broughton's Kialoa II.

The Veterans division sees Tim Gabsy's Filepro sitting in front of two yachts which are still out on the course, Bill Barry-Cotter's Katwinchar and Shane Kearn's Komatsu Azzurro.

Corinthian IRC currently has Shaun Tiedemann's Willie Smith's Philosopher in the top spot, followed by Kimberley Jaggar's Cinquante with another Sydney 38 Goat in rounding out the top three.

Corinthian PHS currently sees Bruce Watson's Imalizard sitting in first, Kimberley Jaggar's Cinquante in second and then Robert Frayne's Mille Sabords in third. With a few yachts still to finish in the division, there may still be an unset but would need some very drastic wind changes for this to occur.

The Sydney 38 division has seen Goat in the top position, followed by a three-minute gap back to Cinquante in second and Mille Sabords in third.
