This yacht was designed by Sparkman and Stephens and built in Hobart by Max Creese. She represented Australia in the One Ton Cup Series held in Auckland during February this year. "Maria" has had recent successes in Tasmanian Offshore events and should be a possibility for a high overall place on handicap as well as in her division.
