Abbott Tout

This will be the first Rolex Sydney Hobart for the eclectic (and eccentric) crew of Abbott Tout, a Mumm 36 owned by identical twin lawyers Marc and Louis Ryckmans.

Skippering Abbott Tout will be 26 year-old Norwegian Ola Strand Andersen, who despite his age has already has logged an impressive 45,000 nautical miles offshore, including sailing an 11-Metre One Design across the Atlantic Ocean.  Ed Vieytes, a 25 year-old Olympic 49er sailor and a Brazilian member of the 2002 Italian America's Cup team, will bring great experience to the boat.

Other crew includes 37 year-old Andrew Stuart, Co-Chairman of Goldman Sachs JB Were, 36 year-old Hugh Funder, former Chief of Staff to the Federal Attorney General Darryl Williams, and 29 year old Luke Janssen, CEO of TigerSpike, who, equipped with his hard-wearing and weather-proof Siemens m65 mobile phone, will be blogging in LIVE pictures and text from the race, and the lead up to it.  The crew are looking forward to finishing the Bluewater classic and will be pushing hard all the way for a top handicap result.
