Apollonius
Owner/skipper Julian Robinson from Deviot on the Tamar River, designed and built this sturdy boat from King Billy pine over celery frames and has raced the boat in the Three Peaks event around the coast of Tasmania and in two Melbourne-Launceston races, winning both the IRC and PHS divisions of this Bass Strait crossing in 2004. Appolonius is the second Tamar Yacht Club boat in the fleet this year, the other being Jailhouse Grill.
