Wedgetail

Wedgetail made its offshore racing debut in this year’s long coastal race from Southport to Mackay, finishing an impressive 2nd on corrected time.  Skipper Bill Wild has put together an excellent crew for the boat’s first race to Hobart, with Kevin Costin as sailing master and Peter Elkington as navigator.  The highly experienced Darren Senogles is a watch captain along with Darren Hutchinson while the crew also includes Vanessa Dudley, the former world champion and round-the-world sailor and editor of Australian Sailing magazine, as a helmsperson.
