Fruit has performed well under IRC in Hobart and has a good ocean racing pedigree coming from the Victorian team of Don Jones & Mal Hart including winning this year’s King of the Derwent on PHS and 2nd IRC in last year’s Maria Island Race. Fruit is better suited to stronger conditions and revels in reaching and running. An experienced crew will campaign Fruit south for the first time since she retired from the 1994 Sydney Hobart.
