Capriccio of Rhu

Capriccio of Rhu was on a world circumnavigation with her British owner Michele Colenso when she arrived in Sydney to contest last year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart.  Following her arrival, Michele was diagnosed with breast cancer and she went on to use her participation in last year’s race to promote and raise money for breast cancer research, and managed to pick up a win in the cruising division.  While she had plans to continue cruising this year, Michele has found Sydney very much to her liking and she and boat captain Andrew Poole have been permanent identities on the CYCA marina for the past 12 months, taking part in many club races on the Harbour.
