Decosolmarine Sailplane

One of a large number of UK entries, this Beneteau has achieved success as racing division winner of this year’s Atlantic Rally and class winner of the St Maarten 2006.  Decosolmarine Sailplane also finished this year’s tough Rolex Fastnet Race finishing 14th overall and 6th in division.  This will be the first Rolex Sydney Hobart for the British crew and they are just keen to get going.  It has been a massive task organising everything and it has been a total crew effort.  This is a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity for most of the crew and they are all looking forward to taking on whatever Bass Strait can throw at them.  They are also looking forward to meeting friends and family who are making the trip from the UK to Hobart to cheer them at the race finish.
