Pisces

With her new owner David Taylor, Pisces won the fully crewed division of the 2007 Three Peaks Race in Tasmania.  As Amante, the boat contested several Sydney Gold Coast and Sydney Mooloolaba races with her previous owner, but has never done the Rolex Sydney Hobart.

The crew will be entirely Tasmanian, with the exception of David Cunningham.  The boat has just been re-rigged to improve her IRC rating and they are expecting to perform as well as the new Sydney 36CR’s.  With four years of local knowledge sailing in the Derwent River, they should do well when they each local waters, “but alas, I still don’t have a clue when it comes to picking the best course in the river,” says David.  They will be wagering the odd glass of beer with the Impeccable crew who raced on board Pisces in the King of the Derwent in January this year.
