Sparkman & Stephens, the famous US naval architects, designed Stormy Petrel to the international One Ton rule and Syd Fischer sailed her to victory in the 1971 Cup series in New Zealand.  With 37 years of ocean racing history to her name, Stormy Petrel is still very competitive and is still winning races.
