Dormit INSX is one of several Victorian entries for this year’s Hobart. Built in 1994 by North Shore Yachts and designed by Scott Jutson, this boat has competed in several Hobarts, most recently placing 6th in PHS division in 2006.
Dormit INSX is based at the Sandringham Yacht Club, participating in many of the Victorian ocean races, placing 1st in the 2008 ORCV Winter Series – Division 2 IRC and 6th Overall (IRC) in the 2007 Melbourne to Hobart. Most recently, Dormit INSX placed 4th overall on IRC in the 2008 Melbourne to Stanley Sydney to Hobart qualifier.
Dormit INSX will be crewed by father & son team of Robert, Marcus and Julian Sill with a quality team of keen, young & experienced SYC sailors.
The boat will be sponsored for this year's race by Dormit Pty Ltd (www.dormit.com.au).
