Beautifully built of King Billy pine, this well performed former Tasmanian boat made her Rolex Sydney Hobart debut in 2007 under new Sydney owners Antony Sweetapple, Anthony Bruce and James Lee Warner. In 2008, she finished sixth in PHS Division 1. Recent form has seen Quetzalcoatl win the PHS Division of the September CYCA Ocean Pointscore race and placed 2nd in PHS in the Cabbage Tree Island race. When based in Hobart, Quetzalcoatl won the 2005 Melbourne Hobart Race on corrected time and took line honours in the 2006 race.
