SES Inch by Winch

SES Inch by Winch

Inch by Winch was originally built for the 1981 Admirals Cup but narrowly missed selection in that series.  Following a very successful racing career including first places in the Sydney Gold Coast and the Lord Howe Island yacht races, she was retired to the Whitsundays.  In 2007, she returned to Sydney and underwent an extensive overhaul in preparation for a new racing career. With her current owner Andrew Wenham and racing under the name SES Inch by Winch she competed in and won her Division in the Sydney to Gold Coast race 2009.  Then, consistent with her history, went on to competed in the Lord Howe Island race coming a credible 5th whilst training her crew for Hobart.  Other events includes a regular in the CYCA Blue Water Pointscore series.
