Aurora has completed every Hobart since 1998. Built in 1983 she still remains competitive in the right conditions. With good crew experience on board, including the husband and wife team of Jim (sailing in his 23rd Rolex Sydney Hobart race) and Mary Holley (sailing in her 14th), the team aboard this one-off Farr 40 are looking forward to improving on last year's performance. Now based at the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, Aurora achieved her best results in the two heavy weather Hobarts of 1998 and 1999, where she finished 2nd and 3rd in division respectively
