Menace was designed by Dennis Phillips and built by John Simpson, Niven James and friends. Menace was launched in June 2009 and is owned by Niven and Angi James and races out of Lake Macquarie Yacht Club. Her maiden race was the 2009 Audi Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and she competed in the CYCA’s 2009/2010 Blue Water Pointscore Series. Menace is currently racing on the lake and offshore in the LMYC Pointscore series.
