Primitive Cool
Primitive Cool was purchased by John Newbold in 2011 and is one of the former AFR Midnight Rambler's which was modified by previous owners, Ed Psaltis and Bob Thomas, to maximise offshore racing performance. With the boat now based in Melbourne, John has wasted no time in applying his own sense of style to her and is looking forward to enjoying continued success with this pedigree racer. Under Psaltis and Thomas' tutelage, the boat won the CYCA's Blue Water Pointscore Series for 2006/07 and the Short Ocean Point Score in the same season, so Newbold as a big reputation to live up to.
