Titania of Cowes

Titania of Cowes

Titania of Cowes, a Swan 68,  is returning for her third Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Her crew include British sailor Mark Covell, who won a silver medal in the Star class at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney; from the Isle of Wight, in England, Jonathan Davidson, Alex Dobbs, Richard Dobbs, and Helen Mayhew; and Tasmanian sisters Gina and Amanda Hewson.

Titania’s 2010 Sydney to Hobart crew included Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the first person to sail non-stop around the world. Sir Robin enjoyed the race so much that in 2013 he bought his whole round the world Clipper fleet to take part - something that is also planned for 2015.

For the last 5 years, Titania has been based in Asia, cruising in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Fiji, Australia and New Zealand.  She won the Premier Class in the King’s Cup in Phuket in 2011 and 2012.
