Avalanche

Avalanche is a unique yacht designed and built in 2015 by Robert Hick to fulfil dreams. The original owners came up with the concept after completing the 2014 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and went searching for the ultimate prize. In her first offshore race since 2015, Avalanche took line honours in trying conditions in this year’s Melbourne to Stanley with placings in IRC, AMS and PHS. Avalanche is a well-prepared and presented race boat with a great mix of experienced and enthusiastic crew who have great respect for the elements and opposition but intend to test both by being prepared, thorough and resolute.
