Duende
Veteran Damien Parkes is back with his 2003 German-designed 52-footer on her eighth trip south in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, the 33rd for skipper Parkes. Finished 13th last year in PHS Division and 12th the previous year. Duende is the former Tau Ceramics/Lacoste and raced in Europe before Parkes bought and adapted her. She has carried a number of legends in her time, including Tony Cable who broke a record on board in 2016, notching his 51st race.
