St Jude
CYCA Vice Commodore Noel Cornish AM has done every Hobart race since 2008 in his Sydney 47. Over the years he and his team have made good progress with the yacht and been able to consistently work it up the rankings. Most recently he and his team claimed the Overall Win in the Cabbage Tree Island Race, where they were placed first in not only IRC, but also ORCi and PHS divisions as well. Looking to the start on Boxing Day, Cornish explains; “We like to have conditions that are more of an all-round nature. The boat goes well when it’s on the wind, so we hope to see a range of conditions in this year’s race”. St Jude has been a consistent performer in all major offshore races and her experienced crew will ensure she places well amongst her division which will put them in good standing for a great overall series result.
