In her maiden Rolex Sydney Hobart last year, PJ Davison’s Arcadia finished 64th overall. The Archambault 40 racer/cruiser enjoyed a short but successful sailing stint over Geelong weekend 2016 before undergoing a thorough overhaul and upgrade in readiness to be to be campaigned regularly in Bay regattas in Victoria, and the ORCV ocean circuit. She is a regular competitor in local waters and finished third in the ORCVs Offshore Series for 2016-2017, won the 2017 Melbourne to Hobart Sovereign Series overall and was fifth in Melbourne’s 2018 Stanley Race. More recently, the Melbourne yacht won the 2019 ORCV Winter Series on AMS was sixth in Division 2 in the Melbourne to King Island Race and fifth on AMS in the qualifying race to Stanley in November. They will have good competition with the other production 40 footers in the race.
