Audere
After their debut in the 2018 Rolex Sydney Hobart, John Cain, Jenny Wright and their daughters Beth and Milly will return with the aim to improve on last year and try their luck in the Corinthians division. Throughout 2019, Audere has been racing out of Royal Brighton Yacht Club, and ORCV offshore series. The crew are a group of family friends who had joined the Cain's for casual sailing in 2017 and all jumped at the opportunity to enhance their experience in the ocean and race to Hobart. With a year's more experience under their belt the crew are looking forward to the race this year and a finish amongst the other five First 45's in this year’s fleet. Originally known as Patrice IV, this Beneteau First 45 was launched by South Australian Gary Tucker in 2011 and raced to Hobart that year. The yacht again raced to Hobart in 2014 after being renamed Audere by then owner Tasmanian Michael Pritchard.
