Business as Usual

Business as Usual

The former High Anxiety II, a Sydney 40, was built in the Sydney 40 class for the 1999 Admirals Cup, but was one of two hulls that never exactly made it to the Admirals Cup. Peter Hayes was the first owner up in Pittwater in 2002 with a newly designed keel to improve its stability and righting moment without internal ballast and swept back spreader rig. From there, she moved to Perth in 2008, owned by Todd Giraudo and lived on the Swan River for 10 years until the current syndicate of Mattijs Willenborg, Terrance Brookes, Paul Glynn and Marcia Moulton, brought it back to the east coast.

Now named Business As Usual, the yacht lives in Pyrmont, NSW and has been competing in events such as the CYCA Winter Series and Concierge Traveller Spring Series and raced in September’s Flinders Islet Race. This will be her first tilt at the Rolex Sydney Hobart.
