Koa
Koa finished the race 26th overall last year, following her 14th of 2017 and her retirement from the 2016 race with a broken starter motor. She scored 10th in the 2019 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast race, a race that she has previously had a 2nd in. In 2017 this TP52 took the line honours and handicap treble in the Flinders Islet Race, breaking Loki’s seven year-old conventional yacht race record.
Peter Wrigley and Andy Kearnan bought this TP52 in 2015 after she had won the 2010 Rolex Middle Sea Race and placed second in the 2014 Rolex China Sea Race. Koa was formerly known as Sjambok/Lucky. Koa will have a great battle with the nine other TP52s. Brent Wrigley again joins his dad Peter for the race.
