Mayfair

Mayfair placed 51st overall for fifth in Division 4 last year. The previous year, James Irvine sailed her to 35th overall for second in Division 3; a great result for this yacht on only her second Rolex Sydney Hobart. Their first attempt in 2015 resulted in ninth for fourth in Division 4. She headed south to Sydney to compete in the 2019 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Race and placed second in Division 4 after finishing 31st overall. The crew are again looking forward to the 628 nautical mile race ahead. Irvine, who is coming up for his fourth Rolex Sydney Hobart, has again put together a crew of local characters whose partying spirit belies their skills on the racetrack.
