Minerva has contested five Sydney Hobarts, her last in 2013, when she finished 16th overall and 3rd in ORCi division. Prior to that, she was 44th in 2011. A DK43 design owned by the Cox family and skippered in the race by son Edward. Minerva is a regular competitor in CYCA races and the Short Ocean Pointscore series. Minerva won the CYCA Ocean Point Score PHS series in 2012/13. In July this year, Minerva finished 28th overall and fourth in Division 3 in the Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race. Formerly known as Pla Loma IV, it contested three Rolex Sydney Hobarts, retiring in her first in 2004, and going on to place 47th in 2006 and 57th in 2008.
