Natelle Two

Natelle Two

Under the guidance of her father Glenn, then 22 year- old Tasmanian Laura Roper skippered the family Peterson 41, Natelle Two, in the 2011 race and finished 59th overall. Roper is 30 now and takes charge again of the two-tonner that has been in the family since 1990. She will be joined by her father Glenn, and older brother Ashley. Natelle Two, a famous name during her heyday, has stood the test of time well and has raced in Tasmania for many years. Built in Auckland, New Zealand and launched in 1975, she has since been restored and competes best in heavy weather to windward, like most of her era.
