Oroton Drumfire

Oroton Drumfire

In her first Rolex Sydney Hobart last year, and with updated sails and other modifications, Oroton Drumfire (named after a mythical desert racehorse of the same name) finished 45th overall. The luxury 12 year-old yacht is pristine, as she is well looked after, and has a beautiful personally designed timber interior. The Hoek TC78 features a double cockpit and double coach roof layout and was first seen racing in Australian waters at Hamilton Island in 2017 where many of us fell in love at first sight. She drew many admiring looks before and as she departed for Hobart in last year’s race. Before she was purchased and brought to Australia in 2015, Drumfire won the 2011 Superyacht Cup Palma.
