Primitive Cool
Primitive Cool is a Reichel Pugh 51 purpose-built for offshore racing. She is the former Tattersall Cup winner of the 2010 Rolex Sydney Hobart as Secret Mens Business. John Newbold has owned Primitive Cool since 2013 and has successfully campaigned the yacht in Melbourne and Sydney. In 2015 the yacht finished the race fourth overall and second place in IRC Division 1 in testing conditions. Given heavy running and/or reaching conditions and a modicum of luck, Primitive Cool is still capable of a podium finish amongst a star-studded IRC 50 foot Division 1.
