Quetzalcoatl
Quetzalcoatl is well-known to the race and her owners have pulled out some great results, although last year’s PHS ninth was not as they expected. They missed the Rolex Sydney Hobart in 2017, but finished PHS second for Division 2 second in 2016. She was PHS second and third in the Corinthian division in 2014, returning after two years absence, especially for the 70th edition, so obviously could not miss the 75th. She won PHS in 2011 – a special year with victories also in the Sydney Newcastle and Gosford Lord Howe Island races. This Australian designed Jones 40 is distinctive because of her name and bright yellow décor. Beautifully built of King Billy pine, she continues to deliver for her owners; Antony Sweetapple, Anthony Bruce and James Lee Warner.
