Sweet Chariot
This is a first Rolex Sydney Hobart for Sweet Chariot, whose name suits this comfortable Buizen 48 launched in 2001 for David and Jill Henry. The pair has taken this handmade luxury cruiser around Australia during 2002-2003; New Zealand and back in 2005, and on a leisurely cruise around the world from 2006 to 2015. In her first Rolex Sydney Hobart, Henry will have his son Rupert (of Chinese Whisper fame) aboard. Greg O’Shea, who did the Melbourne-Osaka double-handed yacht race and two previous Rolex Sydney Hobarts with Rupert, also joins the crew. Recent racing includes finishing third overall in October’s Botany Bay Race.
