Take Five

Take Five was designed by Australian America’s Cup designer, Peter Cole. She lives in Tasmania with owner, Ian Gannon who says he is looking forward to doing the race “with some old mates, they jumped at the chance to do the 75^th.” One of the older and smallest traditional heavy yachts, he typically races locally with some success, including placing third overall in the 2017 Launceston to Hobart race and other podium finishes. Gannon will be praying for a hard blow from the south to maximise his yacht’s potential. He and the crew will get plenty of practice on the delivery up to Sydney.
