This will be the 10th Sydney-Hobart for twin brothers Louis and Marc Ryckmans who bought the former Audi Sunshine Coast in 2014 and renamed it Yeah Baby. Previous owner, Rod Jones, was first in IRC Division 1 in the 2013 Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and third on line honours in the 2013 Gosford Lord Howe Island race. Last June, Yeah Baby finished second on line and second overall in the Ponant Sydney Noumea Race. Yeah Baby was the first boat 50 foot and under to finish the 2017 Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race. In 2014, Yeah Baby finished fourth in IRC Division 1 in the Rolex Sydney Hobart. Yeah Baby was 14th on line in the 2015 Rolex Sydney Hobart and fourth in IRC Division 2 in the 2017 Rolex Sydney Hobart.
