White Noise

Like a number of others in this year’s race, White Noise’s owner chose the 75^th running of the Sydney Hobart to debut White Noise, his brand new M.A.T. 1245. This will only be the second race for White Noise, the first being her qualifying race from Melbourne to Stanley on the Melbourne Cup weekend. With his previous White Noise, a Beneteau First 35, Edwards was crowned the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria’s Offshore Champion for 2016, 2017 and 2018. The new White Noise was launched in October this year after her delivery from M.A.T. Yachts in Izmir Turkey and she includes a comprehensive sail wardrobe designed and made by Doyle Sails. Her owner and crew are from Sandringham Yacht Club and claim that this will be the first of many Rolex Sydney Hobart campaigns. Should conditions favour the 40 to 50 footers, keep an eye on White Noise.
