Oroton Drumfire
A particularly attractive Hoek design, Oroton Drumfire is named for the long-distance desert race horse of the same name. She placed 65th in 2019’s 75th Rolex Sydney Hobart and in her first Rolex Sydney Hobart in 2018, with updated rigging, sails and other modifications, the 24-metre yacht finished 45th.
This luxury yacht’s exterior and interior are beautifully kept, and her timber interior has been personally designed. She features a double cockpit and double coach roof. Before she was purchased and brought to Australia in 2015, Oroton Drumfire, which draws admiring glances wherever she goes, won the 2011 Superyacht Cup Palma. Another interesting crew mix includes Adrienne Cahalan and Volvo Ocean Racer Stacey Jackson, who skippered Wild Oats XI to second overall in 2018.
