Another Tasmanian entry, Tenacity was recently purchased from Malaysia and previously sailed as Ambush and Meraki. Now sailing out of Bellerive, the owner has bought this boat with the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race specifically in mind. Based out of Tasmania, owner John Lawrie will be joined by Rolex Sydney Hobart veterans Adam Goode, competing in his 14th Hobart, and Tony Kirby, who is looking to complete his 38th trip south.
