Cadibarra

A Victorian yachtsman, Paul Roberts recently purchased the latest Cadibarra, a Sydney 41 originally from Brisbane when known as Electra. The crew have been busy preparing the boat for offshore racing, including this year’s ORCV races and the Rolex Sydney Hobart. Roberts previously owned Cadibarra 8, the yacht now racing as Minnie (including in this Hobart) for Michael Zappa Bell.

Roberts is a perennial and well-known ocean racer, and last entered the Rolex Sydney Hobart in 2020, before the race was cancelled due to COVID. His best result was 15^th overall and third in Division 2 in 2014. He has also contested the Melbourne to Osaka Double Handed Yacht Race where he finished second in IRC and second over the line in 2013.
